Mushrooms and herbal tinctures contain bioactive compounds that may interact with medications or health conditions. If you're currently taking prescription drugs, managing a chronic illness, or under medical care, we recommend discussing any new supplements - including liquid mushroom extracts - with your provider.

Go Slow. Your Gut Will Thank You.

If you're not accustomed to eating mushrooms regularly or to a high-fiber diet, your body (and gut biome) may need a few days to adjust to the new compounds, particularly beta-glucans, which act as prebiotics and contain soluble fiber.

We recommend the following approach:

Days 1 - 3:  Start with half the recommended dose (2 ml for mushroom tinctures)

Days 4-7:  Increase to full dose if there's no GI upset

Some people may experience mild digestive effects (like gas or bloating) in the first few days. These are typically short-lived as your system adapts.

How to Take Your Mushroom Tinctures

  1. Shake the bottle well before each use
  2. Use the included dropper.  Each full squeeze of the dropper bulb (the black rubber bit at the top) equals approximately 1 ml (~30 drops).  Two full dropper squeezes is the recommended dose of 2 ml (~60 drops).
  3. Add to 1-2 oz of water or a beverage like coffee, tea or juice. 
  4. Drink and get the benefits of full-spectrum mushroom supplements!

Most customers prefer adding mushroom tinctures to water or drinks. While they can be taken straight, some find that the taste can be too strong.

How to Combine Your Mushroom Supplements

The industry word for combining supplements is "stacking".  Supplement stacking is the strategic combination of multiple supplements to more effectively address a specific health concern. Druzy Fusion products were built to stack together.

All of our mushroom and botanical extracts can be combined into a single dose. So if, for example, you're taking The Foundation Functional Mushroom Blend for systemic support and stacking that with our Lion's Mane single variety for brain fitness and executive fatigue, they can be combined into one convenient dose. Just add both to your beverage of choice!

Concerned About Alcohol?

No problem. Add your tincture dose to a mug, pour in 2–3 oz of boiling water, and let it sit for several minutes. The alcohol will mostly evaporate, leaving the beneficial compounds behind.

Timing Tips

  • Tinctures can be taken with or without food, best absorption is on an empty stomach
  • Most people prefer morning or midday (except Reishi, which can be relaxing or sedating—ideal for evening use)
  • Listen to your body and adjust as needed

When Will I Feel a Difference?

  • Some people notice changes within 2–3 weeks
  • Most herbal and functional mushroom supplements take 6–12 weeks for full effect
  • Others only notice benefits when they stop taking them

This is a long game. Stay consistent, be observant, and trust your process.
